The decision was taken by a meeting chaired by LT. Governor Anil Baijal. The supreme court too prohibited the plying of 15-year-old petrol and 10-year-old diesel vehicles in the NCR and made it clear that such vehicles will be impounded if found on roads. SC directed the CPCB to publish a list of the numbers of these vehicles on their website and social media.
